Wankhede Stadium renovation for the upcoming 2010 Worlcup is being done to meet international standards, better facilities, improved crowd management & circulation. Designing a cantilever roof in steel & fabric to provide a obstruction free view was a major challenge in a tight site. Prathamesh R Kudtarkar's 3D visualization was extensively used in designing the roof, spectator viewing quality, circulation & importantly Aesthetics.
Govandi Hospital among the first project to be given the opportunity to Prathamesh to completely design the exteriors based on a plan to give a modern look for a proposed government hospital. Clean prominent forms with distinct massing was achieved by use of color & modern materials. Conceptualizing the Exteriors design from plan to a complete Presentation 3D was done in mere 7 days.
After the success of Govandi Hospital followed the challenging task of designing the Exteriors for Students Hostel - NITIE without using ACP of massive curtain glazing, yet achieve a modern look. Prathamesh R Kudtarkar's Prominent clean forms with colors to enhance the massing helped in achieving the desired modern look. Spider glazing was used only for the lower level being closely view by the pedestrian traffic.
PCMC Auditorium Planned with a previously designed traditional elevation was given the responsibility to redesign the exteriors to reflect the Modern concept. Prathamesh R Kudtarkar's Design had to be adapted into a partly constructed auditorium. Forms & cladding materials were used to achieve a more aesthetically pleasing look.
Miyapur Township a large township with 55 Towers & a Commercial Complex was planned at Hyderabad & was taken further to give a pleasant feel by cutting down the visual clutter. Aakruti High-Rise Residential Complex designed for the staff of Microsoft at Hyderabad, this high-rise residential complex has one residence per floor & all modern day amenities. Prathamesh R Kudtarkar Being provided with plans & elevations had a challenging task of tweaking elevation & colors to reduce the visual congestion apparent in the presentation. Landscaping was artistically used to add life in the Complex.
The Last Project at Shashi Prabhu & Associates Topiwala Auditorium a Redevelopment Project at Goregaon had Air-conditioned Market with Banquet Halls & an Auditorium above it. Designed to consume maximum FSI a box form was opted for. Based on sketches the box was sculpted & modern materials along with appealing colors used to add interest to the huge mass.

Prathamesh R Kudtarkar Designed Garware Club House Grand Entrance Lobby serves the Phase ll Reconstruction. Multi-Cuisine Restaurant, Swimming pool, Coffee Shop have an open view from the lobby. Key Role was to evolve a Design from sketch to a 3D Conceptualization which had an aesthetic appeal and gave a personality to the Lobby.
Garware Club Gym Interiors is highly equipped facility for all sorts of workouts. Designed for physical fitness of Garware Club members. Key Role being to develop a lively space in a relatively mechanized space. Focusing on the Ceiling as a prime design element, interesting cutouts and lighting was used to give life to the space.
Garware Club Guest Room Interiors Serving the members with an experience in their stay during their visit was the motive in designing this space. As a 3D Designer, the False Ceiling was experimented with in conjunction with colors to create this enclosure. Various light combinations being provided to suite altering moods.
NSCI Squash Hall Interiors View With Steel Beams going across the Hall in a undesired way the sole purpose of this 3D Visualization was to study the impact of these beams on the overall appearance.Lighting levels desired for the Squash Courts & the viewing Hall were studied under designed color scheme.
NSCI Table Tennis Hall Interiors View. Designed to international specification an 3D visualization was seek out to study shades of dark blue to suit technically and be equally aesthetically appealing.
Prathamesh R Kudtarkar being given the freehand to evolve concepts, experimenting with forms, colors & lighting in 3D resulted in the creation of this Lobby space for Sports Facility at NSCI. Free flowing waves on the walls are brought to life with interesting patterns of interfering Lights. The Glass elevator gives an open view to experience this play of light. A welcoming reception reflects the mood of the space with its wavy design & integrated lights.
NSCI Coffee Shop Interiors View adjoining the Main Lobby of NSCI Sports Complex serves the sportsmen’s to refresh them from a heavy workout. Wooden Flooring with a bright furnishing & Wall Graphics adds to the ambience of this space.
A warmer appealing option of Guest Rooms was designed for the upper floors of Garware Club. Veneer panel with embedded LED lights & brushed metal strips in conjunction with wooden flooring added elegance to the space. Curtain tracks hide behind the specially designed false ceiling which was kept as high as possible with cove lights throughout to add to the volume & give a floating effect. Deep Chrome accent wallpaper adds contrast to the wall panel.
Garware Club Guest Corridor a carpeted corridor with an artistic Mural at ends adds Art to the passage leading to Guest Rooms of Garware Club. Duct Doors were flushed & finished with the same wallpaper as corridor to ease visual clutter and add simplicity to space. A light just in front of the duct door helps during servicing.
Considering the classical taste of the client a more traditional theme was opted for. Prathamesh Designed a Wooden panel with engraved Deonagri text to add to the antiqueness was designed with vertical slots and decorative lights behind to add a modern variation to the theme. Wallpaper is used to give a contemporary touch to the otherwise classical
Prathamesh designed Garware Club Restaurant Moving towards a Fusion concept by blending the classical elements of the false ceiling with contemporary wall treatment this theme was arrived upon. Floral wall covering with contrasting colors & diffuse light around adds interest to the ceiling.A light Sculpture sandwiched between glass panels acts as a screen for the kitchen door behind. Use of tinted mirrors with brushed metal adds life to the space.
Garware Club Banquet desired to be one of the most prestigious venue, Prathamesh designed it to give a true Royal experience for occasions. Use of Ornamented false ceiling with gold leafing for the cornice & antique chandelier contemplate the style of columns & classic wall treatment. Mirror polished Italian Marble with an imperial floor pattern completes the grandness of the space.
Garware Club Bar a Classic British Theme was adopted by Prathamesh to satisfy the elite taste of Garware Club members by designing a Traditional European Bar & extensive use of wood paneling with moldings. Wooden cornices with inverted ceiling light enhance the decorative wallpaper used in the ceiling adding to the volume. Renaissance paintings enhanced with carved golden frames & Antique Light Fixtures recreate the quintessence of Royal living.
Prathamesh Designed Garware Club Jazzy Bar for the rush of Adrenaline a dynamic metal ceiling with Neon lights creates the essence of a night club. Jet Black sparkling reflective flooring in conjunction with dark interiors & spot illumination on sitting highlights the center of activity. With Youth flowing through the ambience contrasting sitting concepts appeal various cultures & lifestyles.
Prathamesh designed an Elegant & Contemporary Theme representing the sophisticated class of Garware Club members having a dark ceiling with Tubular light fixtures floating in vastness add peace to the whole space. A Vibrant inviting Bar having hemispherical light cutouts in the panel and a lit counter attracts the focus.Sitting concepts of different styles have been designed to cater taste of every segment of members.
